What is Faith Dating, and why we built it

Finding someone who shares your faith is not always easy. Church communities can be small, friend groups overlap, and on mainstream dating apps faith is often just one checkbox among many. We built Faith Dating to change that: a dating app made for Christian singles who want to build their relationship on what matters most to them.

What is Faith Dating?

Faith Dating is a free Christian dating app for iOS and Android. It helps Christian singles meet each other, have meaningful conversations and, hopefully, find a partner for life. Everyone on Faith Dating is looking for the same thing: a serious relationship with someone who shares their faith and values.

Why we made it

Our goal is simple: we want to bring Christian people together. We kept hearing the same story from friends and people in our churches. They longed for a partner who shared their faith, but did not know where to meet them. General dating apps felt superficial, and faith often became an awkward topic instead of a starting point.

We believe a relationship has its strongest foundation when two people can share their faith: praying together, going to church together and making choices based on the same values. That is why we wanted a place where faith is not something you have to explain, but the common ground you start from.

How Faith Dating works

• Create your profile. Share who you are, what your faith means to you and what you are looking for in a partner.
• Discover matches. Browse profiles of Christian singles and like the people who interest you.
• Start a conversation. When the interest is mutual, it is a match and you can start chatting right away.

Safe and respectful

A dating app only works when people feel safe. You can report profiles and messages, our team reviews every report, and we act quickly against behaviour that does not belong in a respectful Christian community.
